How to cook pasta from scratch (Homemade pasta)

First, a mixture of eggs, flour and salt should be prepared into dough then, wrapped and left in refrigerator 30 minutes to 2 hours. Once the dough is firm enough you want to roll it out using a rolling pin. You then cut the dough and fold into the desired shape such as Ravioli. The pasta can then be cooked.

In order to cook pasta just right first, place water into a pot, just enough to cover the pasta. When it comes to a boil, add one teaspoon of salt and the homemade pasta pieces. Let them boil for five minutes stirring frequently. Once pasta has cooked remove from heat and drain completely. Serve with sauce of your choice. Cooking directions are for pasta “Al Dente”, the expression meaning that the pasta is still a bit tough while eating.
